Rajamouli’s protégé to direct Srikant

Pulagam Srinivasa Reddy and Chandra are producing a film on the banner of Star Line Productions introducing RK as director. It is worth mentioning here that RK was the associate of SS Rajamouli and worked for various films including ‘Simhadri, Sye, Chatrapati, Vikramarkudu and Yamadonga’ and gained good experience in the direction department.

As per the Film Nagar sources, Srikant is playing the role of a serial killer in this movie and has a high-speed action in its backdrop. Besides Srikant, another hero would also share the screen.

Presently, Srikant is busy with films like ‘Dussasana' and 'Virodhi’ and hence the film may be launched in June.

Cinematography is by Shyam Dutt, editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, dialogues are by Maheshkumar, art is by Raghu and P. Dileep Kumar is the presenter of the movie.

It took 18 months to make Shakthi: Aswini Dutt

Junior NTR and Ileana starrer mega budget movie Shakthi which will release on April 1st, was reportedly made in 18 months time. The movie's producer Aswini Dutt himself revealed that including the pre-production time, the movie took 18 months to be made.
